5 gallon water dispenser · countertop jug pump

Water from the big jug, without lifting the big jug.

This is a small countertop water dispenser. The jug stays on the floor or in a cabinet; a thin hose runs from the dispenser down into it. Put a glass on the base, press a button, and it pumps the amount you picked, then stops.

It is a desk-top station, not a pump that sits on top of the jug. It stands on your counter, desk or nightstand, and the hose does the reaching.

Set it up once

Hose in the jug, glass on the base.

Drop the end of the hose into your water jug and stand the dispenser wherever you want to fill a glass. No flipping the jug onto a cooler, no tipping it over a pitcher.

Pick an amount

Press, walk away, come back to a full glass.

Six preset amounts from 100 to 1000 ml (about 3.4 to 33.8 fl oz) light up along the front of the base. Choose one and the pump stops by itself when it is done. Or hold to pour exactly as much as you want.

Cordless

Charge it, then unplug it.

A built-in rechargeable battery runs the pump, so once it is charged there is no cord on your desk or nightstand. It charges through a USB-C port from an ordinary USB charger.

Worth knowing before you buy

The honest small print.

It does not heat or cool water. What comes out is the temperature of the water in the jug.
Place the jug within reach of the hose. The jug sits beside or below the dispenser, with the hose end near the bottom of the jug.
Keep the buttons dry. Wipe up spills on the base so water does not sit on the controls.
Water only. Use it for drinking water, not for soda, juice or other drinks.
Rinse the hose now and then. Run clean water through it when you change jugs.
