Description
Faucet wrench · aerator removal tool
Take the aerator off in seconds with a rubber grip.
A light plastic wrench with a round, rubber-lined jaw. Close it around the aerator on the end of your faucet, squeeze the handles and turn. The nonslip rubber teeth hold the whole round aerator evenly, so it turns freely and your chrome finish stays smooth.
Fits the round aerator on the end of most kitchen and bathroom faucets. Rated 4.8 by 14 buyers and backed by our 90-day money-back guarantee.
Kitchen sinks
Low pressure or a sputtering stream?
A clogged aerator screen is a common cause. Close the jaw around the aerator, squeeze, and turn it to the left to unscrew it. Rinse the grit and mineral scale out of the screen, then thread it back on by hand and snug it with the wrench, turning right.
Bathroom faucets
The same squeeze-and-turn on a basin tap.
Bathroom aerators are small and smooth, and hard to hold with fingers. The jaw closes all the way around the aerator, so you turn it evenly and it comes off cleanly.
How to use it
Three steps.
Open and place
Open the handles and close the round jaw around the aerator on the end of the spout.
Squeeze
Squeeze the two handles together so the rubber teeth grip the aerator.
Turn
Turn left to loosen. To refit, thread it on by hand, then turn right with the wrench until snug.
What you get
Ready to use out of the box.

Pro tips
Make the job even easier.
- Scale on the thread? Wrap the spout tip in a cloth soaked in white vinegar for an hour and the aerator turns freely.
- Squeeze firmly. The rubber teeth bite harder the more you squeeze, so you can turn the aerator smoothly.
- Refit by hand first. Thread the aerator on by hand, then a gentle turn with the wrench makes it snug.
