Description

Electric-hydraulic hole punch · angle iron · channel steel

Punch bolt holes in angle iron and channel steel in a single press.

This portable hydraulic punching machine turns hole-making into the easy part of the job. A 1500 W electric motor drives a hydraulic ram, so the punch pushes clean, round holes through steel while you simply line up the mark.

Heavy-duty, fast and ready for the shop or the job site, it saves the time and effort that drilling every hole takes.

Skip the drill, the bits and the pilot holes

Every bolt hole, done in a press.

Drilling angle iron means center-punching, a pilot hole, a bit that wanders and another hole to go. Multiply that by the ten, twenty or fifty holes in a rack, a bracket run or a trailer frame and the afternoon is gone.

The hydraulic punch concentrates all of its force at the die, so each hole is a single press: clean, round and exactly where you marked it. Precise positioning, fast punching that saves time and effort.

How it works

Mark it. Line it up. Press.

Hydraulic force does the work, so there is less manual strain on you and more attention for getting the hole exactly where it belongs.

Mark the hole

Scribe the center on your angle, channel, plate or busbar.

Set it in the throat

The open working area lets the steel sit between the matching punch and die, with the mark right under the punch.

Press and move on

The ram drives the punch through in one press. Slide to the next mark and repeat.

Handheld or on its base plate

Work the way the job needs.

Carry it to the steel and hold it by the handle for work on the job site. Or stand it on its base plate, set your foot on the pedal and keep both hands on the workpiece for steady, accurate positioning at the bench.

The foot pedal, gloves and side handle (Long models) come in the kit, so you are ready to punch the day it arrives.

Built for real fabrication work

Punches the materials you actually build with.

A heavy-duty hydraulic head and five included dies cover the holes most fabrication calls for, in the metals most jobs are made of.

1500 W

Electric-hydraulic power

A corded motor drives the hydraulic ram: no hand pumping, no hammer and chisel.

5 dies

1/4 to 13/16 in holes

Bolt, anchor and fastener holes from small to large, with the dies in the kit.

Why punch instead of drill

Quicker than drilling, easier than a hand punch.

A drill makes you push, chase a wandering bit and clear swarf from every hole. A manual punch asks for a lot of muscle and a sturdy bench. This hydraulic puncher does the pushing for you and leaves a clean opening, so the finished work looks as good as it fits.

It is a heavy-duty format suited to fabrication, workshop and industrial environments, and the storage box keeps the puncher, dies and accessories together for the next job.

Ready the day it arrives

Everything you need to start punching.

Five dies from 1/4 to 13/16 in, the foot pedal, wrench, hex keys, O-rings and screws, work gloves and the side handle (Long models) all come in the kit, with a storage box to keep it together between jobs.
