Description
A pocket door that locks, and still slides all the way into the wall
A pocket door earns its place by vanishing into the wall, and this lock lets it vanish too. A shallow oval plate sinks flush into each face of the door and a slim strip sinks flush into the edge, so the door glides into its pocket exactly as it did before. Close it, turn the small bar on the inside plate with your thumb, and the room is private.
A short stainless hook swings out of the edge strip into a keeper on the jamb and holds the door firmly shut. Turn it back and the door slides again. Hardware that lives inside the door gives towels, sleeves and the wall cavity nothing to catch on, which is what makes the set a clean, modern finish for bathrooms, bedrooms, dressing rooms and home offices.
Lock it with your thumb, release it with a coin
The inside plate carries a small flat bar that stands just above the disc. One thumb turns it and the lock is set: it is the only control the set has, and it is easy to find in the dark.
The outside plate carries a narrow straight groove sunk flush. Line a coin or a flat screwdriver blade up with it, turn, and the hook releases from the hallway in a second, which is the reassurance a bathroom door should have. It is keyless, so there is no key to lose.
A finger pull that folds out when you reach for it
Look at the edge strip and there are two things on it. Above is the hook. Below it sits a small flat tab that folds outward and drops back flush when you let go.
A pocket door that has slid home leaves nothing to grip. The fold-out tab gives you a handle exactly when you need one, then tucks away again, so retrieving the door from the wall is effortless. One buyer calls it a lifesaver.
Buyers say it latches smoothly and looks high end
Rated 4.7 stars by 163 buyers, and backed by our 90-day returns. Here is what they report:
“The hidden hook concept is genius. Easy to clean around and keeps the door face completely flat without protruding knobs.” — Derek F.
“The pop-out hook mechanism is a lifesaver. No more digging your fingernails into the edge of a recessed pocket door just to pull it out of the wall frame.” — Garrett L.
“The smooth latch operation on this invisible entry set is amazing, holds the sliding door closed tightly without any slop.” — Danielle S.
“Wow what a fantastic hardware upgrade! Solved our pocket door sticking issue and looks extremely high end.” — Tyler Y.
“Upgraded all three sliding doors in our basement renovation with these locks. Sleek, hidden, and functions flawlessly.” — Paige F.
A mortise lock that sits inside the door
The lock case lives inside the door edge, which is why nothing shows on the finished door. Fitting is a straightforward mortise job: a pocket in the door edge for the lock case, a shallow recess in each face for the oval plates, and a matching recess in the jamb for the keeper. A router or a sharp chisel and a drill do the work, and any carpenter can fit it.
As one buyer put it: “Pretty straightforward to install with standard router bits. Keeps the door profile completely flush inside the wall pocket.” The result is a door with a built-in lock and no hardware to see.
Where it earns its place
Bathrooms and en-suites on a sliding door, where a latch makes the room feel finished. Bedrooms and dressing rooms where a pocket door is the only thing between two spaces. A home office that needs one closed hour. Barn-style and cavity sliders that came with a finger scoop and nothing to hold them shut. Basement renovations and whole-house upgrades where every sliding door should match.

Four finishes, one shape
Matt Black is a flat, softly brushed black. Gray is a mid gunmetal with a satin sheen, closer to graphite than to silver. Gold is a bright warm champagne. Red Gold is a rose bronze, warmer and darker than the Gold.
The hook is stainless on all four, so you get a bright silver tongue against a black or gold plate, a crisp contrast that looks designed.
