Description
Reach the screw hiding behind the cabinet frame
The back hinge screw inside a cabinet, a bracket behind the pipes under a sink, a drawer slide at the back of a narrow carcass: this flexible bit extension puts the bit right on them. It goes between your drill and the bit. The drill stays out in the open, and the coiled shaft bends around the obstacle to land the bit on the screw, so the job is finished without taking the cabinet, the sink or the panel apart.
One end is a 1/4 in hex shank that goes into your drill's chuck or quick-change holder. The other end is a hex socket that takes any standard 1/4 in hex-shank screwdriver bit, so the bits you already own are ready to go.
Rated 4.5 stars by buyers who use it
“It worked great for the job I bought it for (replacing the mirror on my truck).” Kian Y.
“Good flexible extensions for hard to reach areas.” Dexter U.
“Good for tight spaces.” Lucas M.
“He said it would be a time saver.” Rusty M., buying for his mechanic son. Every order is backed by our 90-day money-back guarantee.
Built to bend and keep a firm hold
- Coiled metal shaft. Bends around frames, pipes and panels, and bends back to straight when you are done.
- Knurled metal collars at both ends. A grippy surface for your free hand, so you can guide the tip onto the screw head.
- Hex shank in, hex socket out. Locks into any drill chuck or 1/4 in quick-change holder and takes standard 1/4 in hex bits.
How to use it
- Chuck the hex shank. Tighten it in a drill chuck, or click it into a driver's 1/4 in quick-change holder.
- Seat a bit in the socket end. Any standard 1/4 in hex-shank screwdriver bit.
- Steady the far collar with your free hand. Guiding the knurled collar near the bit keeps the tip on the screw head while the shaft bends.
- Run it slow and smooth. Low speed and a low clutch setting let the screw pull itself in with full control.
Where it earns its place
- Cabinets and furniture. Hinge screws, corner brackets and drawer slides deep inside a carcass.
- Under sinks and behind appliances. Brackets and panel screws hidden behind pipes or a back panel.
- Electrical and electronics housings. Screws recessed inside a case or behind a lip.
- Around the car and the shop. Trim, mirror and panel screws in tight corners.
Which length?
7.9 in (200 mm) is shorter and easy to steady, and suits most cabinet and furniture jobs. 11.8 in (300 mm) reaches further and wraps around bigger obstacles.
