The Story Behind the Design

This cushion began as a hand drawing by Meriem Chrrouhi, then moved slowly from paper into fiber through the hands of Marrakech artisans.

The terracotta ground becomes the canvas, while the écru and charcoal forms read like abstract glyphs — part symbol, part gesture, part memory. Because each shape is placed and stitched by hand, the final rhythm can never be repeated exactly.

That is what makes the piece rare: not only the design itself, but the human decisions held inside every line.
