Description

Hang the door, set the cabinet, lift the panel — on your own

Slide the flat steel plate under the edge, squeeze the grip, and the carriage walks up a toothed post one notch at a time. Let go and it holds that height by itself. Your hands are now free to shim, screw, level and fix while the arm does the lifting.

It is a hand-sized lift arm that turns a two-person job into a one-person job: hanging a door, setting base cabinets, raising a dresser or washer corner, holding a shelf or panel at the height you need.

The second person is the hard part to find

The weight is one thing. Holding it at exactly the right height for the next ninety seconds is what takes a helper: the shim, the first screw, the level check. This arm takes over the holding, so a Saturday job does not have to wait for someone to be free and your back keeps its day off.

It lifts in steps and stays exactly where you stop

Each squeeze raises the load one tooth along a steel post, so you set the height you want. Press the small release lever near the top of the carriage and the load comes down under control, a step at a time. The foam-sleeved grip fits your hand and the dimpled load plate grips what it lifts.

Rated 4.8 stars by buyers who work alone

“These lifting tools really work well. I am an avid DYI-er, work alone and I'm currently in the middle of our kitchen renovation. I've used these to level the base cabinets and also to help level our new stainless range, they worked perfectly without me doing the back breaking work.” Kevin D.

“I bought this for my father... He frequently handles 4x8 sheets of plywood... these are perfect for lifting them off of the ground a few inches without straining his back. He also used them to help install a wood floor.” Tyron O.

“I've use this for lifting furniture to fix legs or apply sliders. Also had to lift a corner of the dryer. I used to sacrifice my lower back muscles but not anymore.” Nedra C.

“Great for grabbing heavy objects that have no finger room off the ground so they can be easily lifted or put on a cart. This product gets into those tight spaces and easily lifts up object. No more hurting fingers!” Kayla K.

Every order is covered by the Gear Elevation 90-day money-back guarantee, so you can try it on your own project.

The jobs it makes easy

  • Bring a kitchen or bathroom base unit up to the counter line and hold it there while you shim and screw.
  • Carry a door slab at the right height in the opening while you line up the hinges.
  • Raise the corner of a dresser, wardrobe, range or washing machine far enough to slip in a foot, slider or felt pad.
  • Hold a shelf, panel or sheet of board level against a wall while you mark and fix it.
  • Lift a heavy flat object off the floor to get your fingers or a strap under the edge.

A pair is the setup for the long pieces — a door, a worktop, a run of shelving. One arm at each end keeps it level and shares the load, up to 220 lb (100 kg) together.

For the steadiest lift, stand the arm on a firm, level floor, slide the load in close to the post and put a pair under anything long.

3. SqueezePull the foam grip up to the fixed handle and release. Each squeeze walks the carriage up one tooth. Repeat to the height you want.
4. WorkIt holds on its own. Shim, screw, level, fix.
5. Come back downPress the small release lever near the top of the carriage and lower the load a step at a time.
