How to set it up

Mount the housing
Fix the housing to the face of the door at its lower outside corner, with the magnet end pointing down, just clear of the floor.
Find the stop point
Open the door to where you want it to stop, short of the wall, and mark the floor directly under the magnet.
Place the plate
Fix the steel plate on that mark. Swing the door open and the magnet catches it.

- About five minutes to fit. Mount the housing and the plate and the door is ready to hold.
- Plate right under the magnet. The magnet is drawn straight to the plate when it passes close over it, so set the plate where the magnet lands.
- Clean, dry, smooth surfaces. Wipe the door and the floor first for the best grip.
